Frequently Asked Questions

Do you take my Insurance?

Please use the link below to see if I accept your insurance and what your fee per session would be based on your benefits.

How often would I come to therapy?

That depends on your reason for coming to therapy. Most clients come weekly or biweekly, and others come less frequently.  Very occasionally, some clients come twice in a week if they have had a particular issue such as a break-up, loss, or some other reason they want extra support that week.

Are there issues you don't treat?

I do my best work with individuals experiencing issues related to anxiety, relationships, self esteem, getting back on track with life goals, grief, work life balance, and Imposter Syndrome– I get very good results with the areas above because I limit my focus to these specific areas. I don’t treat current or historical bipolar, schizophrenia, substance abuse, or anger issues that involve current or historical thoughts or behavior of physical harm to self or others.  I do speak to individuals about emotional eating and sticking to a healthy diet, but will need to refer out cases where an eating disorder has become a medical concern such as dangerously underweight.
